Hello!
On August 3, 2018, I went to the Philippines to gain some experiences in teaching.
I felt happy because I can be a representative from my university to join a program named SEA Teacher. To be able to go abroad is surely an honor for me.
SEA Teacher is one of
the program conducted by SEAMEO. SEA Teacher stand for “Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia”
which is a project that aims to provide opportunity for pre-service student
teachers from universities in Southeast Asia to have teaching experiences
(practicum) in schools in other countries in Southeast Asia (seateacher.seameo.org).
The purpose of this program is to enable pre-service student teachers to develop their teaching skills and pedagogy, to practice their English skill, and to allow them to gain a broader regional and world view.
The participation of the students and universities for this program is increase year by year. It means that many universities want their students able to have new experience, new challenge, to understand more about people, culture, the difference, and everything in order to make them develop.
By this kind of program, it give people especially student to dream more, to do more.
They will dream about living overseas.
They will do more to make their dream into reality; which is not easy to do.
The efforts that the people have done to fulfill their dream, unconsciously change them into a better person.
